Buying land?

Get a perc test before you buy land.

We always recommend having a soil evaluation done before purchasing land to make sure it's suitable for a septic system. This simple step can save you time, money and surprises down the road.

How it works

How a perc test works

  1. Tell us about the property

Send a request below, or call or text. Share the location, acreage and what you're planning.

  2. Site visit & testing

Jacob comes out to the property to evaluate the soils and run the testing your project needs.

  3. Clear, reliable results

You get results you can understand and act on, whether you're buying, building or developing.

About

Hi, I'm Jacob Harvey.

I founded Earthly Insights to help homeowners and developers make well-informed decisions about their land and septic systems.

I graduated from Alabama A&M University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, specializing in Soil Science. Basically, I'm all about understanding how the earth works, especially when it comes to soil.

A perc test is like a health check for the soil. Healthy soils filter water, prevent pollution and keep our land and water clean, so getting it right matters for your property and for everyone downstream. My goal is to consistently deliver clear, reliable results so your new septic system performs the way it should.
